Summary: The adopted repeal relocates the existing requirements to new 19 TAC Chapter 78. The repeal was adopted without changes since published as proposed.

Summary: The adopted new sections relocate existing requirements from 19 TAC Chapter 61. New §78.1001 and §78.1003 were adopted without changes since published as proposed. New §78.2001 was adopted with changes since published as proposed.

Adopted Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 101, Assessment, Subchapter DD, Commissioner's Rules Concerning Substitute Assessments for Graduation, §101.4002, State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness End-of-Course Substitute Assessments
Summary: The adopted amendment updates the list of approved substitute assessments to include the addition of the PreACT 8/9 and the PreACT assessments. The amendment was adopted with changes since published as proposed.
Effective Date: July 7, 2025
